If you fancy learning to sew, I can help you!
I give sewing lessons in your home, so that you can learn on your own machine.

I’m based in Reading, Berkshire, and prefer to teach anywhere that’s easily reachable by public transport. Projects can be based around whatever you'd like to learn, whether that's putting together a whole new wardrobe or running up a pair of curtains.

I can also teach hand embroidery, smocking, Dorset buttons, Suffolk puffs and basic knitting techniques to small groups of adults or older children.

I'm currently volunteering at the Museum of English Rural Life and the Cole Museum of Zoology, both part of the University of Reading.
